  • Gold Bracket Second Place - silver medal

Should a team win a bracket that is not gold, the highest that the team could finish (depending on the number of teams in the field) is fifth place and likely it is ninth. NCR does not provide medals to teams outside of the Gold Bracket.

Officiating - Work Teams

Certified USA Volleyball officials will serve as R1's for this event.  The work team for a match will need to provide the following personnel:

  • A coach on the work team roster needs to be present at the court his/her team is working
  • R2  - must be a rostered coach (must have a whistle)
  • Score Sheet
  • Libero Tracker
  • Score Flipper
  • 2 line judges

Non-rostered personnel may be allowed to work on the officiating Team, with the exception of the R2 position, provided they can provide documentation that they are registered with a Region of USAV to include a current membership, cleared background screening, and is SafeSport trained, as well as have the appropriate certifications.

It is the team's responsibility to know its work assignment(s). Prior to leaving the facility for the day, refer to AES to determine the team's next work assignment and competition assignment.  It is not the responsibility of the USA Volleyball certified officials nor the site directors to know a team's work schedule. Should an event staff worker errantly confirm that a team can leave a facility and therefore the team misses the work assignment, the team is ultimately responsible for confirming its schedule.

IT IS POSSIBLE THAT A TEAM MAY HAVE TO OFFICIATE A MATCH FROM ANOTHER DIVISION. THIS IS NOT NEW TO A LARGE TOURNAMENT FORMAT.

Schedules

The schedule is expected to be posted week of  February 16, 2025.  Our tournament scheduler will take into consideration the following factors

  • seeding of teams in their competition divisions
  • not playing another team in the same club on the first day
  • not playing another team from the same general area (this can prove difficult with good seeding)
  • increase intra-Region and inter-Region competition
  • division play and court locations (with a Boys Region Qualifier, where an age group plays matters). Our goal is to limit interruptions by volleyballs from other courts causing replays on adjacent courts
  • Please check the schedule Friday night prior to Saturday play.  Adjustments may need to be made due to extenuating circumstances.

University Athlete

NIKE Region Qualifier will be using University Athlete to assist your participants and college coaches.
