Fun in the Sand!

Beginner camp emphasis on the fundamentals of the game, skills, and overall FUN. The North Country Region camp will focus on coordination, agility, sand volleyball education, and skills of playing sand volleyball!

Day Camp Thursday, June 29th

How to Sign – Up

  1. Have your child’s USAV membership ready
    1. If players don’t have a membership, select this link to purchase a One Event Membership: SportsEngine Memberships
  2. Above, select the location where player would like to participate
  3. Select the date that is presented. When choosing the first date, the player will automatically be signed up for the 4-day camps or the one-day camps.
  4. Click Book Now on the right-hand side
  5. Enter the number of players you would like to register for then select next
  6. Fill in the following information: Name, date of birth, and NCR membership ID. Here is additional information to find your membership ID: How to Find My Membership ID Number - SportsEngine Help Center
  7. Fill out the additional information needed to register
  8. A follow up email will be sent with additional information about the camp

Player/Parent Information

  • We encourage parents to stay and watch. No seating available so a lawn chair is recommended.
  • A medical release form will be sent to the guardian who signed up the player. The form will need to be handed in before camp.

Additional Information

Weather

  • Thunder storms/lightening and extreme heat will be taken into consideration when deciding to cancel one day of the camp
  • IF THE EVENT IS CANCELED DUE TO WEATHER, AN EMAIL WILL BE SENT BY 7:00 AM THE DAY OF THE EVENT. A day will NOT be refunded due to weather. If the full week is canceled then a refund will be sent to participates

Refund

  • Youth Sand Volleyball Camp Refund Policy.
    • NCR will assess a $15 administrative fee to all refunds
    • 30 or more days prior to the start of the event, a full refund minus administrative fee
    • 14-29 days prior to start of the event, $25 refund that includes the administrative fee
    • 0 – 13 days no refunds will be provided

Safety

  • No Trainer on site
  • Coach will be responsible for the safety of the child during camp
  • Players that need to use the restroom must be accompted by another athlete (buddy system)
  • Adults not associated with the camp who approaches the court will be asked to remove themselves.
  • Coach will have a first aid kit for minor injuries

Please contact Mariah@ncrusav.org for the One Event Membership if players do not have an NCR Junior Membership or a NCR Junior - SafeSport Required Membership. 

Membership

A North Country Region membership is required to participate in the camp.

  • If a player has already purchased NCR/USAV membership this year, for example: 22-23 NCR Junior Membership, the membership will apply for the camp and a $10 NCR -USAV One Event Membership Fee is not required. The USAV membership ID number will need to be provided when signing up for the camp. The number can be found in your SportsEngine account. Why do I need a membership?

This camp is a USAV sanctioned event- under the National Governing Body of Volleyball in the United States. As no athlete or parent should have to worry about safety when they choose to play volleyball, North Country Region/USA Volleyball is committed to creating a safe environment. In fact, your child’s safety is our highest priority. USAV secondary liability insurance is part of the USAV National dues which is a part of the USAV membership
