HIGH PERFORMANCE COACHING PROGRAM
In addition to lead and team coaches, multiple volunteer coaches are needed to help our program run successfully. Coaches who are looking to broaden their horizons and advance their career will find the NCR HP Volunteer Coaching Position a great place to start! Region High Performance Coaching Program
The NCR Indoor High Performance Program relies on North Country Region coaches to dedicate their time helping our athletes reach the next level!

All interested coaches, whether lead coaches or volunteer coaches, must have a current USAV membership, current USAV background screen, SafeSport training and be IMPACT certified prior to working with any junior players.

High Performance Coaching Opportunities
The specific dates and locations for all NCR High Performance Program Events have now been released. We are looking for Lead Coaches to run High Performance Tryouts and the High Performance Selection Camp as well as Team Coaches to coach our High Performance teams when they head to the Championships next July.
Below is a brief, and certainly not all-inclusive, description of the coaching opportunities in the NCR High Performance Program
TRYOUTS
- LEAD COACH: Responsible for planning the tryout session and overseeing the tryout for that division.
- ASSISTANT/COURT COACH: Responsible for implementing the tryout plan on each of the courts while helping the Lead Coach evaluate players.
- VOLUNTEER COACH: Responsible for assisting the Assistant/Court Coach by running drills, tossing balls, etc.
HP SELECTION CAMP
- HEAD COACH: The head coach of each age division will be selected in the Spring of 2023, prior to the HP Selection Camp and will be responsible for planning the camp sessions for their team and overseeing the on-court sessions. Head coaches may also be asked to be Tryout Lead Coaches.
- ASSISTANT COACH: The assistant coach of each division will be selected prior to the HP Selection Camp and will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach with planning the camp sessions for their team and overseeing the on-court sessions. Assistant coaches may also be asked to be Tryout Lead Coaches.
- CAMP COACH: Responsible for implementing the on-court session plans as instructed by the Head and Assistant Coach. May be asked to provide input regarding player evaluation.
- VOLUNTEER COACH: Responsible for assisting the Camp Coaches as needed.
NCR ALL-STAR TEAM COACH
- HEAD COACH: The Head Coach will accompany their team to the USAV All-Star Championships in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and will be responsible to run the Selection Camp for their age division.
- ASSISTANT COACH: The Assistant Coach will accompany their team to the USAV All-Star Championships in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and will be responsible to run the Selection Camp for their age division.
