Purchase Membership Directly
Another option for an individual to purchase a membership is through the shared Membership URL link. Below is the list of the 2022-2023 NCR - USA Volleyball Memberships. As a membership becomes available, the Region will provide a direct link to a specific membership so that an individual can purchase. NOTE: For members who need their NCR-USA Volleyball membership affiliated with a club, the club will provide direction about their invitation/assignment process.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS: must purchase their son/daughter's membership in the parent's/guardian's SportsEngine account. Parent/Guardian will need to login to his/her own SportsEngine account, complete information of account holder, and then complete information for the minor age athlete. The child's membership will be found in the parent's MySE Household after clicking on the the child's profile.
CLUB ASSIGNMENT: Share the email address of the SportsEngine account that has the junior player's membership with club so that the club can send the club assignment request to the correct SportsEngine account.
TURNING 18 PRIOR TO 8/31/2023: For the 22-23 Season, any junior players who are turning 18 years old by 8/31/2023 will be surfaced with the 18s player membership and required to complete SafeSport training to become eligible.
Adult Memberships - Full
Full memberships, as determined by USA Volleyball, allow individuals to participate in all USA Volleyball, NCR, and other Regions sanctioned events without restriction. Price does not include USA Volleyball Background Screen fee - $14 annually for Background Screens that expire August 31, 2022 or anyone who doe not have a current USA Volleyball Background Screen.
22-23 NCR Adult Club Director of Juniors $55-->
DESCRIPTION: Should be selected by all club directors of juniors, even if they are participating in other roles. Allows for participation in all USAV/RVA sanctioned events. The participant must successfully pass a background screen and be SafeSport trained prior to participation.

DESCRIPTION: Should be selected by all adult coaches of juniors, even if they are participating in other roles. Allows for participation in all USAV/RVA sanctioned events. The participant must successfully pass a background screen, be SafeSport trained and complete IMPACT prior to participation.

22-23 NCR Adult Chaperone - SafeSport & Background Screen Required $55 -->
DESCRIPTION: Allows for participation in non-coach roles in all USAV/RVA sanctioned events. The participant must successfully pass a background screen and be SafeSport trained prior to participation. Coaches should choose the "coach" specific membership to be eligible.
22-23 NCR Certified Official - Not Affiliated with Junior programming $55 -->
DESCRIPTION: Full season membership for an adult participating as an official.
22-23 NCR Adult Player Membership $55 -->
DESCRIPTION: Allows for participation as a player in all adult USAV/RVA sanctioned events. Junior club players should select the "junior 18s player" membership.
Adult Memberships - Limited
Limited memberships, as determined by USA Volleyball, allow individuals to participate in USA Volleyball, Region, and other Regions sanctioned events with restrictions. Restrictions can be length of membership or participation limitations. These memberships are not eligible to participate in USA Volleyball Indoor National Championships, National Qualifiers, and Bid Tournaments. The following limited memberships can be upgraded to a full membership. Price of the limited membership will apply towards purchase of a full membership.
22-23 NCR Collegiate Player $32 -->
DESCRIPTION: Allows for those attending college to participate as a player only and may compete in the National Collegiate Volleyball Federation national tournament. Collegiate players, who also wish to coach, officiate or assume other roles may have additional fees or requirements as determined by the RVA in which they reside. Contact the Region for purchasing.
22-23 NCR Adult Event Worker $10 -->
A full season membership available to individuals working Region/USA Volleyball sanctioned events. It does not allow for participation in a player role or as a rostered adult for any Region/USA Volleyball sanctioned event. This membership does not include the cost of a background screening but allows for free access to SafeSport Training. The participant will be required to successfully pass a background screen and be SafeSport trained prior to participation.
22-23 NCR One-Event Adult Player $7.50 -->
DESCRIPTION: Allows for participation as an adult player only in an event that extends up to a total of five consecutive days. May be purchased multiple times with only one of the purchases that can be applied towards a full membership. Junior players should select the "junior 18s player" membership.
22-23 NCR Outdoor Adult Coach of Juniors $25-->
Should be selected by all adult coaches of juniors, even if they are participating in other roles. Allows for participation in outdoor programming only, including nationally sanctioned outdoor events and national outdoor championship. The participant will be required to successfully pass a background screen, be SafeSport trained and complete IMPACT prior to participation.

Full memberships, as determined by USA Volleyball, allow individuals to participate in all USA Volleyball, NCR, and other Regions sanctioned events without restriction.

DESCRIPTION: Allows for participation in all junior USAV/RVA sanctioned events for those who are 18 or older as of the last day of the membership season. Participants must be SafeSport trained prior to participation. For the 22-23 Season, any junior players who are turning 18 years old by 8/31/2023 will be surfaced with the 18s player membership and required to complete SafeSport training to become eligible.
22-23 NCR Junior Staff Manager - SafeSport & IMPACT Required $55 -->
DESCRIPTION: Allows for participation in all USAV/RVA sanctioned events. This membership is chosen for the junior age participant who wants to assist a team. This is a perfect membership for the up-and-coming coach. Participants who are already 18 should select an adult membership type. Upon turning 18, members in staff roles are required to obtain an adult membership and submit for a USAV background check. The participant will be required to be SafeSport trained and complete IMPACT prior to participation.

DESCRIPTION This membership allows only for participation in Region sanctioned club volleyball tryouts. It does not allow for participation in other region sanctioned events (practices, competitions, camps, clinics, etc) or in USAV bid tournaments or USAV junior nationals.
22-23 NCR Junior 8 & Under Player - FREE -->
DESCRIPTION: Allows for participation for those who are 8 years of age or younger during the entire membership season. Not eligible to play in national level events (Qualifiers, JNC, National High Performance teams/camps, etc.).
22-23 NCR Junior 11 & Under $20 -->
Allows for participation for those who are 11 years of age or younger during the entire membership season. Not eligible to play in national level events (Qualifiers, JNC, National High Performance teams/camps, etc.) NCR DOES ALLOW 11 and under membership participant to be on a 12 and older age division roster. Team must have "LIMITED" as a part of the name to alert NCR staff of rostering restrictions to better assist the club and tournament director. 11 and under memberships on a 12 or older age division team are allowable but will show "incomplete" in SE Governing Seasons Roster. Nor will the 11 and under participant be able to be added to a 12 and older age division team roster in AES. These parameters are set in place by USA Volleyball.
