NEW Coaching Clinic – JOIN US

As part of the Ace of Clubs Volleyball Festival, North Country Region will host a Coaching Clinic during the early evening on Friday, February 10th at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

COACH CLINICIAN
Jim Stone (former Ohio State Volleyball Hall of Fame Coach/USA Volleyball Coaching Staff) will present and share with interested coaches. Jim's experience, expertise in process, and focusing on fundamentals will resonate with any coach along his/her coaching journey.  

CLINIC COST

FREE – for coaches who are on the roster of a registered team for Ace of Clubs Volleyball Festival

• $30 – NCR members not attending tournament
• $50 – USAV members not attending tournament
• $80 – non members/other

As part of the Ace of Clubs Volleyball Festival, North Country Region will host an Officiating Camp beginning Friday evening with a classroom session and social and continuing on-court all day Saturday and Sunday.

Members of the USAV National Training Team will be facilitating the classroom session, working directly with officials during matches, and debriefing officials following evaluated matches.

Ace of Clubs Volleyball Festival replaces NCR Presidents Day Tournament/SmackFest Tournament. Minneapolis Convention Center provides the ease of ONE LOCATION and provides the atmosphere of a FESTIVAL without giving up a 3 day weekend.  If your team is wanting to experience a Convention Center event, do team bonding, and/or prepare for a Presidents Day Tournament hosted on the following weekend then this is the event to attend.

This is a private event and organized under the rules and policies of USA Volleyball. Adults working with minor age athletes will meet safety requirements of USA Volleyball.

The NCR High Performance program gives athletes the opportunity to tryout for an NCR All-Star Team.  Along with making lifelong memories, NCR All-Star teams will travel together to represent the Region at the USAV All-Star Championships in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Minneapolis Convention Center as part of the Twin Cities River Rumble

COST:  $65 

Twin Cities River Rumble replaces the NCR Metro Area Championships.  The convenience of the  Minneapolis Convention Center provides participants and families with one location and all the amenities expected of a two day volleyball tournament.  The River Rumble checks all the boxes for a season ending event or a big  spring time event prior to Nationals. NCR will also be hosting a High Performance Tryout on April 28th at the MCC in addition to a players volleyball clinic that is open to all.
