SportsEngine has three administrative permissions available:

• Organization Administrator
• USA Volleyball Manager
• USA Volleyball Viewer

Organization Administrator
This level of permission gives the administrator a club's SportsEngine HQ features of:

• Directory
• Invoicing
• Registration, etc...

• Input players/staff to Governing Seasons
• Print rosters and membership cards
• View players and staff in Governing Seasons
• Cancel Memberships
• Certify eligibility requirements

CANNOT ACCESS A CLUB'S MEMBER DIRECTORY

USA Volleyball Viewer
This level of permission gives the administrator

• View-only access to USA Volleyball Governing Season sub-tab
• Print official rosters and membership cards

USA Volleyball Manager and Viewer Roles
When an Organization Administrator grants the USA Volleyball Manager Role and/or the USA Volleyball Viewer Role, USA Volleyball safety requirements are necessary for the person to have access to these level of permissions.

• Current USA Volleyball Background Check ($14 annually for anyone whose background screen expired August 31, 2021)
• Current SafeSport Training
• Acknowledgement of SafeSport Code and MAAPP 
• Annual Junior Club Personnel Code of Conduct and Ethics

If the needed administrator IS NOT in your club's SportsEngine Directory then follow these steps, If the needed administrator IS in your club's SportsEngine Directory, then skip forward to assigning admin roles.

You must have "Organization Administrator" or "Webmaster" permissions to add members. 

1. Sign in to "SportsEngine HQ."
2. Once in "SportsEngine HQ" click on the Members tab then choose Directory.
3. In the top-right corner of the screen, click Add Person. 
4. Input the member's Name and Email Address plus any optional fields.
5. Click Add. 
   • To add multiple members, check the box next to Add Another.
   • The member you added will receive an email asking them to accept your invitation.
   • This invitation must be accepted before assignment of roles can occur.

1. Sign in to "SportsEngine HQ."
2. Click on the Members tab then choose Directory.
3. Find admins by click the Admins tab and selecting the desired person.
4. Choose the Permissions sub-tab. 
5. In the top right-hand corner of the page click the grey pencil icon.
6. Choose a permission.
   • Full Access: Can access your club's SportsEngine HQ features (Directory, Invoicing, Registration, etc.) but cannot access USAV affiliated data.
   • USAV Manager: Has access to USA Volleyball tab in HQ (cannot access your club's member directory).
   • USAV Viewer: Has view-only access to USA Volleyball Governing Season sub-tab.
7. Click Save.

When an administrator role is assigned that requires additional safety requirements, an email will be sent from USA Volleyball through SportsEngine after a current NCR - USA Volleyball membership has been purchased. The email will:

• list requirements needed for role
• provide direct links to complete requirements
