CERTIFICATION

Once your course has been completed, you will be automatically awarded the appropriate certification.  Earned certificates can be viewed by clicking on Certificates on the left hand side of the screen in USAV Academy.  A list of certifications is also visible in SportsEngine in the Credentials tab of your NCR-USAV Membership.  If a player has completed the 2025 Junior Athlete Officiating Training online training, they will see the following certifications in the Credentials tab: 

• Junior R1 Training (1)
• Junior R2 Training (2)
• Junior Line Judge Training (J)
• Junior Scorer Training (S)
• Junior Asst. Scorer / Libero Tracking Training (L)

If a player has completed the 2025 U11 Membership Officiating Training course OR if a player has attended an In-Person Officiating training, they will see the following certification in the Credentials tab: 

• Regional Jr. Referee (RR)

Once coaches complete course NO25_150 Junior Coach Officiating Training, the Adult Non-Professional Referee (AR) certification will be added to their Credentials in their SportsEngine account. 

Certifications are also visible in the Credential column on the official Season Management roster.  Junior Officiating certifications are indicated as "1", "2", "J", "S", "L" OR "RR".  Coaching certification is indicated as "AR". 

All officiating certifications are valid for one season.  The expiration date reflected in the Credentials section of your SportsEngine account is the date your online officiating training expires.
