Dear Member:

This newsletter is an informational publication that is sent out approximately ten times per year. It is sent to all registered members (18 year and old) with a valid e-mail address. More detailed information can be found at www.ncrusav.org.

The NCR staff is here to help our members have a successful season!


North Country Region represents Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and the upper peninsula of Michigan.

IMPORTANT NEWS

  1. REGISTRATION INFORMATION WILL BE POSTED ONLINE OCTOBER 1ST.
  2. Graduating senior just a reminder you can still play volleyball or brush up on your skills with the help of North Country Region. Please check out the adult tournament schedule and educational skills clinics.
  3. There are still volleyballs available for purchase. Contact Cara at ext 16 or cara@ncrusav.org.
  4. Background Screenings-Any adult involved with a junior team must have a background screen and be a member (of North Country Region). The screen is good for two seasons. If your name is NOT on the list you will need to be screened this season.

ADULTS

We offer all age divisions and all skill levels!
NEXT EVENT: Saturday, Sept 29th-Coed 3's Grass tournament. More information

JUNIOR BOYS

Divisions:

      1. Coed Elementary: 6th grade and under
      2. Junior High: 7th-9th grade
      3. Senior High: 10th-12th grade
  • Contact Jennifer (ext. 14 or jennifer@ncrusav.org) if you are interested in becoming involved with the boys program as a coach or player.
  • 2008 Boys tournament season will begin in February 2008

JUNIOR GIRLS

Ages 18 and under

  • If you would like your try-out information posted, please contact Ken (ext. 12 or ken@ncrusav.org)
  • Event sanction is posted.
  • You can post an ad on our website for teams looking for players, players looking for teams and coaches wanted. Please send information to ken@ncrusav.org.

IMPACT COACHES CLINIC

All coaches need to be IMPACT certified in order to coach.

  • If interested in hosting an IMPACT Coaching Clinic for 07-08 season, please complete the request form.
  • You only need to attend one IMPACT clinic during the duration of your JO coaching career. However, you may attend additional clinics at no cost.
  • Check out your IMPACT certification status

OFFICIALS

  • Travis Karlin has been named the Officials Chair for NCR. He will be offering some new trainings and working with Junior National and National Officials.
  • Officials needed for 18th Annual Presidents' Day Festival-Feb. 17th. Contact Cara (ext. 16 or cara@ncrusav.org)
  • There will be an officials electronic newsletter every month.
  • All teams and players can view the scorekeeping PowerPoint presentation online. If you do not have PowerPoint, you may download a view by clicking here.
